Working to End Racial Oppression: WERO 2025 Conference presentation

  • University of Waikato Hillcrest Road, Hillcrest, Hamilton 3216, New Zealand (map)

Australian PARC representatives joined Moanaroa Pracademics in Aotearoa at the University of Waikato to speak truth to power. Dr Ruth Faleolo, Dr Dion Enari, Dr Hilda Port, Dr Heena Akbar, and Dr Gemma Malungahu shared critical insights on systemic racism in media and health services, and the power of Indigenous voices to reshape narratives. Rooted in relationality and resistance, the talanoa challenged discrimination and championed collective pathways to equity across the Moana. 🌊✊🏽 #PARC #Moanaroa #IndigenousResearch #Talanoa #SystemicChange #PasifikaVoices #MāoriExcellence #Waikato2025
